Our final presentation for the Alternative Housing Ideas Competition drew a crowd of 500+ people!
As the Alternative Housing Ideas Competition draws to a close, it was time to reveal to the public the amazing work that we the 7 shortlisted entries have been working on, and how we are "Reimaging How We Live",
In front of a packed our Lower Town Hall of 500+ people, we each gave a 5 minute pitch of what our proposal for the future of housing could be in Sydney.
Lin and I, as co-founders of Vigilanti, presented the Equity Housing Model, our proposal for a better way to provide affordable housing to more people. Over the last 6 months, we've consulted with many people on how we can make the model better for more people, and together with a group 9 amazing, supportive, local community members, we presented a vision of what homes under the Equity Housing Model would look like.
As this point I would like to thank these 9 incredible people, in no particular order:
Neil, Didi, Namika, Michael, Zoe, Emmett, Lorraine, Karyne, Jenny.
Thank you so much for your support!
Congratulations again to the other shortlisted presenters! We all did an amazing job that night and we will continue to work and collaborative to final rid our city of this housing crisis!
